With a vision for building something meaningful, our founder brings a blend of big-pictureMyléne Melancon (pronounced muh-lane, she/hers) is a West Michigan native with experience in competitive, recreational, and concert/performance dance across fifteen years of teaching at W.E. Dance Academy, the Zeeland Dance Program, Discovery Dance of Fennville, Studio K (Orlando, FL), and Windermere Preparatory Academy (Windermere, FL). She continues to serve as a guest instructor and choreographer for the Zeeland Dance Program and is currently finishing her Pilates certification.

While living in Orlando, Myléne performed with Universal Studios Orlando in Universal's Holiday Parade Featuring Macy's for three seasons in five different roles and in Halloween Horror Nights for four seasons, working closely with performance directors for both Universal and Netflix. Her eight years as a Cast Member at Walt Disney World shaped the way she interacts with people every day, training that carries directly into how she builds an inclusive studio environment where every dancer feels heard, valued, and respected.
