Connecting through Creativity
Our mission is to end social isolation and unlock the potential of all ages by facilitating shared creative experiences that empower participants to develop leadership skills, exchange diverse knowledge, and strengthen the bonds of community.
The world is isolated, but skills should be shared.
The U.S. is facing two big problems: people are increasingly isolated, and we're losing valuable generational knowledge. At Creativity Unites, we tackle both.
The shared goal of creation naturally breaks down isolation, allowing skills to be passed back and forth and empowering individuals of all ages to build strong relationships and find purpose.
Why?
How?
The medium is creativity, but the mission is togetherness.
We are a non-profit that doesn't just teach art; we are a multigenerational hub focused on connection and leadership development through creative projects.
Imagine an elder who knows how to restore vintage electronics mentoring a young person learning robotics, adults and teens working together to learn and perform dance choreography, or an informal crafting group dedicated to getting to know each other. We bring diverse age groups together through classes, workshops, and camps to collaborate on everything from fine arts and creative hobbies to culinary arts and STEM.
Who?
All ages are welcome, and everyone has something to teach.
Creativity Unites is built for every generation, from our youngest participants (ages 3+) just discovering their creative voice to older experts who have wisdom and knowledge to share.
We intentionally bring together people of diverse ages who rarely interact in daily life: students exploring new hobbies, seniors returning to engagement with their communities, or adults seeking friendship outside their workplaces. Our unique model ensures that relationships and learning flow both ways, affirming that every person has value and a crucial role to play in building a stronger community.
